DD, you know I said "I dont know what it will run but its faster than a 12 second car." No biggie though. I got classed in in the class I was wanting to be in. Just dont underestimate FORD power.

Dodgeman, its going so-so so far, I need to get some more advertising out there to get in more customers but the money just aint there to do it yet.

I did make it into the 10's, but they are WAY high tens. Too high to be even close to a good competition.

I am trying to become a contender, but the first time out making it to 3rd place, I think I did pretty good.

It was turning into a waiting game between the 3 of us as to who was getting the bye run.
I finally gave up and just went to the line and that was when I broke out with a 10.91.

Ed

Eddie is it true you were racing the wife's van, and that you threw the seats out of it to race it?

Come on Eddie, she works hard to provide you with a decent ride, you should respect that and wait till you have something that doesn't matter if you break it.

Sorry for the dose of reality, but sometimes a friend has to be honest with you.

You can thank me later.

no dose of reality necessary there Dman, the van is MINE, and the red focus is hers
nice try though guys

hehehehe

and next time I race I might just leave one of the 2 sets in it to add a bit of weight so I will slow down just a hair

To dream the impossible dream, to reach the unreachable star.
To bear with unbearable sorrow, to run where the brave dare not go.
This is Ed's quest, to follow that star,
no matter how hopeless, no matter how far.
To fight for the right, without question or pause,
to be willing to march into hell for a heavenly cause.
And he knows, if he'll only be true, to this glorious quest,
that his heart, will lie peaceful and calm, when he's laid to his rest.
